I need to revise yesterday's post. Not because I'm not still rain giddy. I am. In fact, there was a tornado warning today, which awkwardly made me even more excited. Not in a destructive, weird way, but because it reminds me of when I was little and the seven of us would pile in 100 Willow's basement, flashlights and candles in hand (where Duke would inevitably blow them out with a Happy Birthday!).
However, I realized that my hyperness is truly stemming from the fact that Thanksgiving is one week away. I'm so excited to go home and see my friends and family! I don't know how I'm going to make it through a full week of this, as I'm fairly certain my entire cubby has been bouncing every day at work, and my friends are probably getting annoyed of my emails (subject lines: What are our plans for Wednesday night?/216 hours!/Download Fight for You and memorize it by next week/Can you all please stop playing hard to get?). For real.
I'm going to try to reign it in over the next few days, or else I might reach my Gmail capacity and also get a calf cramp from bouncing my leg up and down at my desk all day.
167 hours until I land in Indy!
I can't wait to see these fine people :) Among a bajillion others. EEK!
SO sad i am not included in those fine people you will see! AHHHH!
